Course Objectives:
In this one-day course, participants will help to identify and understand complex issues associated with children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
- Participants will identify how the environment in their setting impacts on children’s behavioural responses
- Participants will also consider the importance of a whole-team approach to developing children’s self-esteem and explore how to encourage positive behaviour through the implementation of developmentally appropriate strategies
